Crédit Agricole: Serge Magdeleine appointed next CEO of LCL

Crédit Agricole announces that the Board of Directors of LCL, meeting on October 31, 2023, has appointed Serge Magdeleine as Chief Executive Officer of LCL effective January 1, 2024.
In this capacity, Serge Magdeleine will join the Banque Universelle division overseen by Olivier Gavalda, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A., and will join the Executive Committee of Crédit Agricole S.A.
He will succeed Michel Mathieu, Chief Executive Officer of LCL since April 4, 2016, who will retire on December 31, 2023.
