On June 24, MV YU HENG XIAN FENG 5380 RT size PCTC operated by COSCOL successfully loaded and departed from Nansha Automotive Terminal, which marks that China Coastal RORO transportation broken through the capacity threshold of 5000 RT size.
With the decades of development of automobile sea transportation in China coastal area, the capacity of car carrier has been expanded from the few hundreds RT size at the initial stage to the 2000 RT- 3000 RT size recent years. MV YU HENG XIAN FENG has a gross tonnage of 53240 tons, a length of 180 meters, and 5380 RT (standard unit). As her 'maiden voyage' in domestic trade, YU HENG XIAN FENG carried many brands of vehicles including GHAC, Trumpchi, FAW-Volkswagen and Nissan, etc and heading towards Shanghai and Dalian.
