Continental Gold Inc. is a Canada-based exploration and development company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of its mineral resources in Colombia. Its activities include a small-scale mining operation related to exploration work. The Company operates in Colombia through its mineral exploration segment. It holds the rights to explore an advanced gold project, as well as exploration and exploitation rights to over three early-stage projects in Colombia totaling approximately 162,890 hectares. Its Buritica project includes the Yaragua Mine. The Buritica project includes exploration and exploitation rights to a total area of over 61,780 hectares. The Berlin project is located in the Department of Antioquia in Colombia and is adjacent to the Ituongo hydroelectric project. Its Dojura project and its exploration rights cover a total area of more than 40,700 hectares.
