CFOAM carbon foam can also be used in thermal protection systems and as structural panels for EMI shielding and RADAR-absorbing applications. Its CFOAM 35 HTC graphite foam is a graphitized, lightweight, and open-cell carbon foam produced from mesophase pitch feedstock. CFOAM 35 HTC is also machinable, chemically inert, corrosion free, and resistant to harsh environments.
