Brown-Forman Corporation has named Gaurav Sabharwal as its new managing director for India and South Asia. Based out of Gurgaon, Sabharwal will report to Eveline Albarracin, vice-president and managing director of Brown-Forman ANZPI (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific islands), IMENA (India, Middle East, North Africa) and Turkiye Before Sabharwal, Siddharth Wadia was heading the South Asian region until he was elevated as IMENA region head in 2019. Since then, the post has been lying vacant.

With over two decades of experience in beverage and consumer goods companies, Sabharwal has previously worked with Diageo in various commercial leadership roles. In his new role, Gaurav will oversee Brown-Forman's operations in the high-growth and strategic markets of India and South Asia. He will report to EvelineAlbarracin, VP, Managing Director, Brown-Forman ANZPI IMENATurkiye, and will be based out of Gurugram.
