Boeing announces Dave Calhoun's decision to step down as CEO at the end of 2024. He will continue to lead the Group throughout the year to complete the critical work underway to stabilize and position the company for the future.

In addition, the Board of Directors has elected Steve Mollenkopf to succeed Larry Kellner as independent Chairman of the Board, who has decided not to stand for re-election at the next AGM.

In this capacity, Steve Mollenkopf - a Boeing board member since 2020 and former CEO of Qualcomm - will lead the selection process for the aircraft manufacturer's next CEO.

In addition to these changes, Stan Deal, CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), has decided to retire from the company, with Stephanie Pope -COO of Boeing since January- succeeding him at the helm of BCA as of today.
