(Alliance News) - Banco BPM Spa announced Wednesday that Elena Pieracci is the new head of the Novara and Northwest Area Department. Pieracci takes up the legacy of Massimo Marenghi.

Pieracci, the company explains, will be responsible for the coordination and commercial support of an area of historical roots for Banco BPM, consisting of five territorial areas and six retail business centers for about 160 branches - located in Piedmont, Liguria, Valle d'Aosta and Sardinia - and more than 1,400 employees.

Confirmed is the team that will support her in the territory, consisting of the head of commercial management Riccardo Satragno and area managers Marina Milanesio, Nicoletta Annunziata, Luca Platini, Damiano Buso and Alessandro Giammello.

"The appointment entrusted to Elena Pieracci is part of a cycle of appointments involving the top positions of some territorial directorates, structures and companies of the group, and is part of the program of constant professional enhancement of Banco BPM's people while ensuring continuity and quality to the action of presiding over the territories," the bank specifies.

Banco BPM is in fractional green at EUR4.25 per share.
