Press release. Limassol, Cyprus. 21 May 2024
ASBIS Group (WSE: ASB) - a leading Value Add Distributor, developer, and provider of ICT, IoT products, solutions, and services to the markets of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), according to preliminary estimates, in April 2024 had consolidated revenues at the level of approx. USD 192 million, compared to USD 183 million in April 2023, an increase of approx. 5%.
Siarhei Kostevitch, CEO of ASBIS Group, commented: "April this year was in line with our expectations in terms of sales. The leading countries in our sales were Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates who took over from Kazakhstan that still faces challenges, which we expect to overcome in the coming months. We also see very strong growth in Poland, which, next to the Czech Republic, may be the most growing country in Central and Eastern Europe in terms of sales. This means that our activities related to strengthening the team, but also expanding the product portfolio in both of these countries, are bringing the expected results."
Siarhei Kostevitch, added: "In May, we published our financial forecast for 2024. According to our assumptions, we will achieve higher sales dynamics in the second half of the year than in the first months of this year."
