Arealink Co.,Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2017. For the quarter, operating Revenue was JPY 5,083 million against JPY 4,331 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 670 million against JPY 634 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 659 million against JPY 663 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 430 million against JPY 420 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 35.06 against JPY 34.23 a year ago. Net income before income taxes was JPY 668,036,000 against JPY 637,103,000 a year ago.
For the six months of 2017, the company expects to report, net sales of JPY 9,127 million, operating income of JPY 977 million, ordinary income of JPY 958 million and net income of JPY 606 million or basic earnings per share of JPY 49.45 million.
For the full year ending December 31, 2017, the company expects to report, net sales of JPY 19,447 million, operating income of JPY 2,254 million, ordinary income of JPY 2,220 million and net income of JPY 1,353 million or basic earnings per share of JPY 110.31 million.
The company expects to pay a yearend dividend of JPY 40 per share for fiscal year 2017.
Arealink Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the provision leasing services of storage space. The Company operates in two business segments. The Real Estate Operation Service segment is involved in the provision of storage space, the setting of containers, the parking lot business, the lease, maintenance and management of secondhand real estate including offices, stores, dwelling houses and hotels, the provision of small offices, among other businesses. The Real Estate Revitalization and Liquidation Service segment adds value to its purchased real estate properties by conducting renovation works to the buildings, and sells the properties to investors.
