American Axle & Manufacturing announced the following officer appointments: Alberto L. Satine has been named President, Electrification. Satine will lead the company's continued transformation into a high-tech electric driveline systems supplier for global automakers. Tolga I. Oal, has been appointed President - Driveline Business Unit. Oal will lead AAM's global driveline operations which has 16 facilities in eight countries. James Voeffray has been named Senior Vice President, Global Sales. Voeffray will focus on enhancing AAM's customer relationships while continuing AAM's global organic growth plans. Voeffray joins AAM from GKN, most recently having served as Senior Vice President - Sales, Marketing and Program Management of their Automotive Driveline Division. In his 20 year career at GKN, Voeffray held several executive positions which also included leading their eDrive business unit. Before joining GKN, he held various roles at Magna Powertrain Division and Ford Motor Company.
American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. is an automotive and mobility supplier. The Company designs, engineers and manufactures driveline and metal forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. The Company operates through two segments: Driveline and Metal Forming. Driveline products consist primarily of front and rear axles, driveshafts, differential assemblies, clutch modules, balance shaft systems, disconnecting driveline technology, and electric and hybrid driveline products and systems for light trucks, sport utility vehicles (SUVs), crossover utility vehicles (CUVs), passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Its Metal Forming products consist primarily of engine, transmission, driveline and safety-critical components for traditional internal combustion engine and electric vehicle architectures including light vehicles, commercial vehicles, and off-highway vehicles, as well as products for industrial markets.
