He was also Vice President of Operations for start-up high tech companies Break Points from July 2002 to December 2004 and Optical Micro Machines from November 2000 to June 2002.
Mr. Pekarek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Paderborn in Germany.
