Victor Decrion

Victor Decrion, Managing Director & COO Victor Decrion is the Chief Operating Officer of Merchant Banking and a Managing Director of FAPI.
Victor is also a member of the Merchant Banking Management Committee.
Victor joined Rothschild & Co in 2008 to participate to the launch of Merchant Banking.
Prior to that, Victor was a corporate attorney with Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier in Paris and Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York since 2002 focusing on M&A transactions.
Since joining the Group, Victor has been involved in number of investments for FAPI, with a primary focus on the healthcare space.
Current and past board representations include Les Petits Chaperons Rouges, Socotec, Pharmacies Lafayette and Groupe Menix.
As the COO of Merchant Banking, Victor has also been involved in new fund launches and strategic developments, as well as the oversight of the finance and operations of the division.
Victor is a graduate of HEC Paris (where he completed a PIM program at WHU Koblenz).
He also holds a law degree from Paris University and an undergraduate degree in economics from Sciences Po Paris.
