Kalaris is Chief Executive of the Wealth and Investment Management division of Barclays, Executive Chairman of Barclays in the Americas and Head of Private Banking at Gerrard Investment Management Ltd.

He also served on the US Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee and is a former Chair of the US Bond Market Association, a predecessor organisation to SIFMA.
Mr. Kalaris graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and received his MBA from the University of Chicago.
He spent most of his school years attending international schools in Southeast Asia.
