Mr. Theodore Chen is a Co-Chief Investment Officer, Senior Portfolio Manager & Partner at Hillsdale Investment Management, Inc. He is responsible for co-managing Hillsdale's investment and research activities, with a particular focus on US and Global markets.
Mr Chen has over 20 years experience in financial and quantitative analysis.
He joined Hillsdale in March 2021.
Prior to joining Hillsdale, Mr. Chen worked for 10 years at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, most recently in the Quantitative Strategies and Risk Premia Group.
As a Senior Portfolio Manager, he led the Quantitative Equities Portfolio Management team deploying systematic strategies in US, Canada, Europe/UK, Japan and Asia ex-Japan markets.
Mr. Chen also worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Menta Capital LLC, a quantitative based global market neutral hedge fund and prior to that, he worked at Barclays Global Investors’ Alpha Strategies Group in portfolio management roles across Growth and Value long only strategies.
He graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a B.Sc.
