Sonia Ponnusamy

Sonia Ponnusamy joined Albaron in 2020 and is a Partner.
Prior to joining Albaron, Sonia held various senior positions in business development at various investment firms.
Most recently, she was the head of business development at Senrigan Capital Group, an event-driven hedge fund.
Sonia began her career as a CPA at Deloitte and Ernst & Young, and later worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Nomura.
Sonia received her MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, her MPA from Harvard University, her Msc from Imperial College London, and her BS and MA from the University of Cambridge.
Sonia was born in London and has Sri Lankan origins.
