Sandy Grippo

Sandy Grippo is a partner and chief operating officer in the New York office.
She works closely with Bessemer’s global team and represents the firm with financial partners, institutions, and investors.
In addition, she oversees all financial operations of the firm and its investment funds including valuations, accounting, budgeting, financial systems, audits, reporting, treasury, tax planning, and compliance as well as policy development.
She also leads the human resources and information technology teams at Bessemer.
Sandy joined Bessemer in 2002 bringing almost a decade of experience in accounting and financial reporting for private investment funds.
At J.P.
Morgan Partners, she was a vice president where she developed expertise in partnership accounting, partnership taxes, and fund operations.
Her responsibilities included financial management for the $5.4 billion J.P.
Morgan Partners Global Investors fund.
After graduating with a degree in accounting from Lehigh University and earning her CPA, Sandy began her career at Ernst and Young where she spent five years specializing in hedge fund and private equity clients.
