Ruth Khasaya Oniang’o

Ruth Khasaya Oniang’o is the founder of Rural Outreach Program.
She currently holds multiple positions including Chairman of the Governing Council at Great Lakes University of Kisumu, Chairman of Sasakawa Africa Association, Chairman of Sasakawa Fund For Extension Education, Director of CABI Publishing, Director of Ustadi Foundation, Director of The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Trustee of Centre for Agricultural Bioscience International, and Trustee of International Center for Tropical Agriculture.
Her former positions include Independent Non-Executive Director at Nestlé SA, Associate Professor at Kenyatta University, and Professor at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology.
She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Washington State University and her doctorate from the University of Nairobi.
