Mr. Handford joined Barratt in 1979 and was appointed Technical Director in 1987.
In 1996 he was appointed Managing Director of Barratt Manchester a position he held until becoming Regional Director of the Central Region in July 2003.
He was appointed to the Executive main board in July 2004 and is the Chairman of Barratt Homes Central Region.
