Philip is a Partner and member of the Investment Committee.
He leads the firm’s capital markets team with responsibility for debt financing strategy and lender relationships, supporting new investments and the existing Inflexion portfolio.
Prior to this Phil spent 10 years investing across all sectors having invested in Alcumus, Kynetec, Lane Clark & Peacock, Marston, Peach, Scott Dunn, Vivona Brands and Xtrac.
He was also heavily involved in the raising of Inflexion’s 2016 Enterprise Fund IV and Supplemental Fund IV, as well as the raising of the 2012 Co-Investment Fund.
Philip started his career in PwC’s corporate finance team.
From there he moved to Gleacher Shacklock, a corporate finance boutique, before joining Inflexion in 2010.
Philip enjoys travel, particularly in East Africa.
In 2009, he volunteered in Kenya for the Clinton Foundation, working with several African governments and NGOs to successfully reduce the cost of malaria treatment and increase access across 12 countries.
He is a chartered accountant and holds a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham.
