Neal Jackson is NPR’s vice president for legal affairs, general counsel and secretary.
Along with the other lawyers in the Office of the General Counsel, Neal provides the organization with advice and assistance on a full range of legal matters, including intellectual property, contracts, employees, litigation, legislation, corporate structure, and regulatory issues.
Prior to joining NPR in 1996, Neal practiced private law in Washington since 1970, most recently as a partner in the Washington office of the Chicago-based law firm Bell, Boyd and Lloyd, where he handled litigation and commercial transactions.
