Dr. James L.
McCabe is a President & Founder at Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Inc. He is on the Board of Directors at University of Pennsylvania and Eisenhower Fellowships, Inc. He is a member of the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors.
He is responsible for investment strategy and research, portfolio structuring, asset allocation, and manager selection.
He founded McCabe Capital Managers, Ltd.
in 1980 to manage the assets of a small group of high net worth clients.
The firm joined Drexel Morgan & Co. in 2010 as a subsidiary and changed its name to Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Inc. in 2012.
He served as Senior International Economist for Chase Econometric Associates, then a subsidiary of Chase Manhattan Bank, providing economic analysis and forecasting services to corporations and financial institutions worldwide.
He served as International Economist for the U.S.
Department of State and for The World Bank.
He subsequently joined the economics faculty at Yale University as assistant director of the Yale Economic Growth Center, authoring articles on international finance, the economics of population growth, and regional labor force distribution.
After graduating with distinction in Economics from Colby College in 1965 and earning his Doctorate in Economics in 1970 from the University of Pennsylvania.
