Jan Bosch

Jan Bosch has spent his entire career in international investment banking, focusing on origination and successful execution of cross-border corporate transactions between Africa and Europe.
Jan has worked for two organisations before he founded Salt Capital, being Nedbank and Investec Bank, where he was a member of the Corporate Finance teams of both organisations for six years, respectively.
Having spent 12 years at two of the most successful corporate finance houses in Africa, he has been involved in some of the largest transactions on the African continent and has experience in a very wide range of transactions across all sectors.
Jan ended his corporate career at Investec, heading-up the Emerging Markets desk in the Investment Banking division, based in London.
Jan founded Salt Capital in 2012 and sourced and managed all the investments to date, where he has represented Salt Capital on the board of directors of all investee companies.
He has also led all the exits to date, including managing the competitive process of exiting a high profile beverages investment in 2018.
He has been responsible for leading all the relationships with Salt Capital’s investors to date and manages the Salt Capital business on a day-to-day basis.
Jan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Pretoria), an LLB (University of South Africa) and a Master in Finance (University of London).
