Ignacio Bunye

Ignacio Rivera Bunye is the founder of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa.
He currently holds multiple positions including Lead Independent Director at Bank of the Philippine Islands, Independent Director at BPI Family Savings Bank, Inc., Director at BPI Direct Savings Bank, Inc., Independent Director at BPI Direct BanKo, Inc., and is a Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Manila Overseas Press Club, Inc., and National Press Club of The Philippines.
In the past, he served as Chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, Assistant VP-Corporate Banking & Treasury at Bank of the Philippine Islands, Member-Monetary Board at Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas, Assistant Secretary at Ayala Foundation, Inc., Assistant Vice President at BPI Investment Corp., Assistant Corporate Secretary at Escuela Taller De Filipinas Foundation, Inc., and Assistant Secretary at Philippines Foundation, Inc. Mr. Bunye has a graduate degree from the Asian Institute of Management and undergraduate degrees from the University of Ateneo de Manila.
