George Shipley

George Shipley joined Access Holdings in 2021 and is a Principal of Digital Origination on the Value Creation Team.
As a member of the Value Creation Team, George oversees and manages our digital sourcing and origination technology platform.
In his role, he is responsible for driving digital sourcing and origination capabilities for Access and its portfolio investments.
George has more than 14 years of experience working with Private Equity-backed companies in the education industry.
Prior to joining Access Holdings, George was the Chief Revenue Officer of Sylvan Learning where he oversaw a technology re-design and deployment of their contact center initiative.
Prior to joining Sylvan in 2018, George was Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment for Ponce Health Sciences University (University Ventures) where he oversaw the design and implementation of digitally driven student recruitment and marketing strategies.
George previously served in similar senior roles for Navitas (AustralianSuper, BGH Capital) and Laureate Education (NASDAQ: LAUR).
George has completed the INSEAD Navitas Executive Development Program, received his MBA in International Finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and has a Bachelors in Science in International Business from Trinity University.
