Mr. Francisco Roque de Pinho works across Latin America with a focus on Brazil.
Prior to founding Plane Tree, Mr. Francisco Roque de Pinho was a Director at Carbon Capital Markets, where he played a key role in the structuring, fund raising and deployment of the Carbon Assets Fund.
While at Carbon Capital Markets, he sourced, executed and managed a range of investments in Latin-American Clean Development Mechanism projects and advised on a €80 million equity investment in a 220 MW portfolio of wind farm projects in Brazil.
Mr. Francisco Roque de Pinho has broad international exposure and extensive asset management, risk management and project management experience gained while working in the UK, Switzerland and Brazil for Booz Allen Hamilton, LCF Rothschild and Banco Icatu.
Mr. Francisco Roque de Pinho serves on the Board of Directors of Alto Tietê Biogás Redução de Emissões e Geração de Energia Ltda, a landfill gas utilization project company located in São Paulo, Brazil.
Mr. Francisco Roque de Pinho has an MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Management from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Lausanne.
