Deirdre Robertson

Dr. Deirdre Robertson is a Senior Research Officer at The Economic & Social Research Institute.
She is a Researcher Officer with the behavioral economics team and focuses on how perceptions influence health, behavior and decision-making.
She uses insights from cognitive psychology and behavioral economics to develop experiments that can pre-test policy interventions in a diverse range of areas.
Prior to joining The Economic & Social Research, she spent time as a postdoctoral Researcher in Columbia University in New York and as an Irish Research Council postdoctoral fellow in Trinity College Dublin.
She holds an MSc in psychology from the University of Sussex and a PhD in psychology from Trinity College Dublin.
