PFM Health Sciences LP (PFM) is an independent, SEC-registered investment advisor and hedge fund manager headquartered in San Francisco, California. The firm was founded by Chris James in 2004 as Partner Fund Management LP. PFM serves as an investment advisor to private investment funds in which qualified investors invest directly.

Founded in 1970 by Claude Rosenberg, RCM Capital Management LLC, formerly Rosenberg Capital Management, RCM Capital Management LLC is a registered investment advisor headquartered in San Francisco with additional offices in London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney. The firm was also previously known as Dresdner RCM Global Investors. RCM is a division of RCM U.S. Holdings LLC and their ultimate parent is Allianz SE. The use of Banc in the BAS's name is indicative of the fact that the company is not a bank, and their deposits and other holdings are not insured by the FDIC.
