Mr. Chesebrough, Operating Partner, joined New Mountain in 2022.
Mr. Chesebrough has spent his entire career as a Growth Officer and Commercial Excellence executive, and he has worked in many industries in the B2B arena including: technology, discrete manufacturing, distribution, media, healthcare, and financial service.
Prior to joining New Mountain, Mr. Chesebrough was an Operating Executive with TPG Capital from 2012 to 2021 where he was a leader on the Sales Effectiveness team.
During his tenure at TPG, Mr. Chesebrough led sales transformations and turnarounds at a number of portfolio companies – where he often took the role of Acting CRO or Head of Sales Operations.
Prior to TPG, Mr. Chesebrough held positions as Managing Director of the Revenue Enhancement practice at Alvarez & Marsal and Chief Revenue Officer at Corbis Corporation.
He holds a BA in economics from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and a former member of Board of Directors of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
