Ms. Amelia Pentecost is Program Coordinator at Pacific Community Ventures, Inc February 2012.
Prior to joining Pacific Community Ventures, she worked as Development Assistant at Room to Read, an international aid non-profit that builds schools and libraries in communities across Asia and Africa.
She provided support to Room to Read’s international network of chapters and volunteers by coordinating fundraising events, managing chapter newsletters, and helping to launch a monthly online conference for chapter leaders across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Additionally, she worked with Room to Read’s donor network, providing outreach, assistance and project reporting for donor-supported schools and/or libraries in Asia and Africa.
Ms. Pentecost holds a BA in Sociology with an emphasis in Globalization from the University of Colorado at Boulder and looks forward to someday continuing her education.
