Amanda Quail

Ms. Amanda Quail is a Senior Research Officer at The Economic & Social Research Institute (ESRI).
She is on the Study Team that focuses on the National Longitudinal Study of Children in Ireland.
The aim of this study is to tell how children develop over time and help find out what factors affect them.
She joined the ESRI in January 2003, where she worked as a Surveys Executive in the Survey Division before joining the Growing Up in Ireland team in April 2006.
Prior to this she also worked as a research assistant in UCD and Australia and as a residential childcare worker for the North Eastern Health Board.
She holds bachelor and masters degrees in Social Science from University College Dublin and a postgraduate diploma in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin.
