The All-Star Advocate Award
Kari Kuehneman, Technology Services Analyst, Security at Hormel Foods
Kari Kuehneman is a powerful advocate within Rapid7s Voice program and has shown unwavering support as a customer reference. As an early adopter of Rapid7s new, emerging technologies, Kari has also provided invaluable feedback around solution functionality, notably in the development phases of Rapid7 InsightIDR.
Kari has consistently shown willingness to ensure that members of the Rapid7 team truly understand whats important to her and her peers. This level of dedication to partnership has enabled Rapid7 to better meet the critical needs of customers and drive more impactful outcomes.
The Community Captain Award
Colin Morgan, Director R&D and Product Security at Johnson & Johnson
Colin Morgan is part of a team at Johnson & Johnson that is working to educate the companys employees about cybersecurity risks. For three years, Colin has worked tirelessly to embed improved security processes in product development cycles to help better protect patient health and safety. Colins efforts have helped achieve understanding across the businesses of Johnson & Johnson, and the company has developed best-in-class vulnerability receiving and handling processes for the various technology development teams.
The first vulnerability disclosed to them was handled so well that the FDA cited it as an example of what all device manufacturers should do, praising Johnson & Johnson for their collaborative and open approach that prioritized patient safety above all else.
In addition to advocating for security within his own organization, Colin has also been a vocal champion within his industry and community. He is patient, taking the time needed to support and educate those in the healthcare field about the evolving landscape we now live in. He is also a leading contributor in policy discussions on this topic, as well as within various medical sector security groups.
