Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) and Yuanta Cultural and Educational Foundation (Foundation) have been deeply involved in social welfare for a long time, and are committed to helping students and cultivating talents.

Since 2011, Yuanta FHC and Yuanta Foundation have been working with Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) to promote the Yuanta-FJCU Dreams Take Flight Project of Fostering Talent for the Remote Areas. In the past twelve years, we have been accompanying students from remote areas to build their dreams one step at a time without any hindrance. We recently held a 'Yuanta Financial Management Day' event with the project's partner school, Taoyuan Municipal Xin Wu Senior High School, inviting Yuanta Group's colleagues to serve as instructors and explain the importance of risk and risk management to students through interactive games to deepen the concept of financial management. The instructors also shared their experiences of studying and job hunting to expand the students' imagination of career. The instructors received unanimous praise from the students, who all spoke with one voice about how much they benefited.

The Yuanta Foundation points out that attitude determines height, and height can expand the breadth of life. Students are encouraged to make various attempts, continue learning, and 'push themselves up' step by step, and then they will see their own scenery. Xin Wu High School Principal, Ta-Kui Chen, said, 'Life is an infinite game. There is no time limit and no limit to the number of entries. The ultimate goal is to make yourself better and more progressive every day.' He encouraged students to participate in various activities and learning with 'infinite thinking' to shape their future.

A group of professional and enthusiastic financial management instructors from Yuanta Securities and Yuanta Futures started off by quoting Warren Buffett's famous quote 'Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing' to highlight the importance of risk management. The instructors began with the 'Marshmallow Challenge' game, which conveyed the concept of 'team' cooperation and led the students to plan for different disciplines, such as how to enrich themselves and accumulate professional knowledge during the academic year to achieve their set goals.

Chiu, an instructor from Yuanta Funds who shared his career experience, said that behind a financial management lesson, there is a deep meaning, and he hopes to trigger the children's imagination about their future. There were five students who received the scholarship of Yuanta-FJCU Dreams Take Flight Project at the event. Lee, one of the recipients, a junior at Xin Wu High School, said she had originally set her sights on a career in finance, and after the lesson, she was 'even more determined to achieve her goal.' The event also invited Dibe, a professional event host and alumna of Xin Wu High School, back to school to share her 'slash' life from nursing to hosting expertise. She revealed that if a similar course had been offered in high school, 'my career would have been much smoother!'

The Yuanta Foundation upholds the spirit of 'what is taken from the society is used in the society' to help the underprivileged to go to school in the long term, and join hands with FJCU to create the 'Dreams Take Flight' social service project to protect the rights of students to receive fair and high-quality education, and to provide the strongest support for children in remote or urban disadvantaged areas who are interested in learning. To date, we have helped 1,770 number of persons, filling every dream that has taken flight with hope and strength.
