Tokyo, Japan - November 30, 2023
Yokogawa Electric Corporation has released the 2023 Yokogawa Sustainability Report, a document that reports to stakeholders on the progress that the Yokogawa Group has achieved toward its "Three goals" for sustainability, in accordance with the company's raison d'etre set out in the Yokogawa's Purpose statement.
This year, we have expanded the Our Stories section and introduce a number of unique Yokogawa initiatives in six contribution areas that aim to address social issues and grow the company. We also provide more information about our efforts to engage with all stakeholders, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and preserve biodiversity. In addition, we report on the activities of the Sustainability Committee, which was established last year and is playing a principal role in the promotion of sustainability across the Group.

Yokogawa Electric Corporation specializes in design, manufacturing and marketing of electronic equipments. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- automation and control equipments (90.4%): industrial control systems, production control systems, flow meters, industrial recorders, etc.;
- measuring and test equipments (6.9%): semiconductor tests equipments, analyzers, digital counters, electricity, temperature and pressure measuring instruments, scanners, oscilloscopes, tachymeter, altitude indicators, integrated display systems, etc.;
- other (1.7%): marine equipments, meteorological and hydrological measuring instruments, etc.
Net sales break down geographically as follows: Japan (32.2%), China (14%), India (3.6%), Asia and the Far East (15.7%), Middle East and Africa (11.2%), North America (8.9%), Europe (8%), Russia (3.8%) and Latin America (2.6%).
