Viacom is a media group organized around 2 areas of activity: - operation of TV channels (77.9% of net sales): operation of channels on the MTV network (Music Television, MTV2, MTV Digital, VH1, VH1 Classic, CMT, Country Music Television, Harmonix, Spike TV, etc.) and Black Entertainment Television (BET, BETJ, BET Gospel, etc.). The group also operates Internet portals; - cinematographic and audiovisual production and distribution (22.1%). Net sales break down by source of income into advertising spaces sales (37%), film sales (22.1%) and other (40.9%; sales of licenses, audiovisual rights, derivatives, etc.). Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (70.9%), Europe/Middle East/Africa (18.5%) and other (10.6%).
