United Financial Bancorp, Inc. and United Bank and Marino J. Santarelli announced that they have agreed that Santarelli will leave his positions at United, primarily Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective December 16, 2015. United intends to eliminate the Chief Operating Officer position and has agreed to treat Mr. Santarelli's departure as a termination without cause under his Employment Agreement.
United Financial Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company. The Company, through its subsidiary United Bank (the Bank) and various subsidiaries, delivers financial services to individuals, families and businesses in Connecticut and Massachusetts, including retail, commercial and consumer banking, as well as financial advisory services. The Company's operations include the delivery of loan and deposit products to customers.
