On 1 July Tamara Savoschenko - current first Deputy Chairman of the Management Board - will take over the position as CEO at UniCredit Bank Ukraine. Such a decision was approved by the UniCredit group. The relevant decision of the Supervisory Board expected in the coming days.

At the same time Mauro Maschio - former Head of CEE Retail at UniCredit Bank Austria AG - has been appointed, effective 1 May, General Manager at UniCredit Bank Ukraine.

Commenting on the changes, UniCredit Head of CEE Division Carlo Vivaldi said: "I would like to thank Graziano for the great job done in a very challenging environment like Ukraine over the last years. At the same time, let me welcome Tamara on board: her deep knowledge of Ukrosotsbank - with Mauro focusing on business side - will ensure the continuity of our local bank".


Mrs. Savoschenko covered various positions in the Operational Department (Back-Office) in Kiev Region Branch from 1993 to 1998. From 1998 to 2000 she was Chief Accountant in the same Regional Branch.

In 2000, Mrs. Savoschenko was named Head of Management Reporting till 2005 when she took over the position as Head of Corporate and Retail Business Back-Office. From 2009 till 2010 Tamara used to be Head of Back-Office and, from 2011 was Head of IT and Back-Office and since December 2014 - first deputy chairman of the bank.

Mauro Maschio joined the Group in 1996 as Relationship Manager following a working experience at a consultancy agency. Afterwards Mr. Maschio covered different positions within Marketing at Corporate Division and Head of Operative Marketing in Italy.

In 2003, Mauro Maschio took over the position as Head of Operative Marketing at UniCredit ServiceLab. His international career started in 2004 within CEE & Poland perimeter: Mauro was Retail Country Manager in the New Europe Division and then, from 2006 to 2008, Head of Segment Strategy and Commercial Monitoring at Bank Austria.

From 2008 to 2012, Mr. Maschio worked at Ukrosotsbank firstly as Head of Segments & Products Development and then as Head of Retail; in May 2012, he was appointed as Head of CEE Retail at UniCredit Bank Austria AG.
