Thomas Cook Group plc Appoints Lesley Knox as Non-Executive Director, Effective March 1, 2016

Thomas Cook Group plc announced that Lesley Knox has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 March 2016. Lesley brings with her a wealth of international and strategic experience. She currently holds positions on the Boards of Centrica plc and SAB Miller plc, where she serves as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee for both companies.

She previously served on the board of Alliance Trust PLC as Chairman and Hays plc as Senior Independent Director.

Net sales break down by activity as follows: - sale of holiday packages (67.8%): flights, transfer, accommodation, travel insurance, etc. ; - airline services (32.2%). At the end of September 2018, the group owned 186 hotels and operated a fleet of 100 aircrafts.
