Thomas Cook's general counsel and chief corporate officer Craig Stoehr has quit the company, with UK and Ireland legal head Alice Marsden named as his successor. Marsden will retain her role as group company secretary and will sit on Thomas Cook's group management council. She will have direct responsibility for corporate governance and legal matters across the group, UK and airlines, while also overseeing the legal functions in all source markets.

Meanwhile Stoehr's M&A responsibilities will pass to Thomas Cook Group CFO, Michael Healy.
