(Alliance News) - Good Life Plus PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed a new non-executive chair, replacing Keith Harris, who has retired with immediate effect.

The AQSE-listed luxury prize draw and rewards sector firm said David Craven would be Harris's succesor, describing Craven as having been a "formidable presence in the global gaming sector for a number of years".

"In his recent role as CEO of Allwyn Entertainment Ltd, he played a pivotal role in securing the fourth National Lottery Licence following an extensive and highly competitive bidding process which led to the subsequent buyout and takeover of the incumbent operator Camelot by Allwyn. Known for his strategic judgement, David has a proven track record of successfully building and transforming businesses," the company said.

Good Life Plus said outgoing Harris was retiring having made "valuable contributions to both the initial public listing and the recent successful [reverse takeover] and capital raise".

Incoming Craven said of his appointment: "I am extremely pleased to join the board of Good Life Plus at a significant stage in the company's development. The business is fast establishing itself as a leader in the industry, transforming the prize draw and rewards landscape through innovative strategies. I have an extremely high regard for the leadership team's capabilities and look forward to contributing to the company's efforts to become a household name in the UK and beyond."

Chief Executive Officer Charlie Chadd commented: "It is an honour to welcome an industry heavyweight like David Craven to our board of directors. His extensive profile, deep industry knowledge, and wide-reaching network bring immense value to our company.

"We look forward to leveraging David's strategic leadership as we continue to thrive and innovate in the sector. His insights will be instrumental in driving growth and enhancing shareholder value."

Shares in Good Life Plus were quoted at 1.875 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
