Thales announces the creation of cortAIx, a structure that will bring together the Group's AI capabilities in research, sensors and systems.

According to Thales, CortAIx will provide armed forces, aircraft manufacturers and all operators of critical infrastructures with highly secure solutions that will bring them 'greater efficiency in data analysis and decision-making, while taking into account the specific constraints, such as cybersecurity, embeddability and frugality, associated with critical environments'.

With more than 600 AI experts and around 100 PhD students in AI every year, Thales claims to be the leading patent filer in Europe in AI for mission-critical systems.
