March 07, 2022

Sunny Ackerman, President SThree Americas, has been included in Staffing Industry Analysts' (SIA) Staffing 100 North America list for 2022.

The list is in its eleventh year and is acknowledges bold leadership. This year's Staffing 100 recognises a group of professionals that navigated the uncertainties of 2021 and are charting a course into the future of workforce solutions.

Sunny is a 20-year recruiting veteran and the first female to hold the title of president at SThree in North America. She has prioritised gender equality and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives for the region, amplifying the organisation's target to increase gender representation at leadership levels to 50/50 by 2024.

In the past year, Sunny has created career pipelines for women and mentored and hired women in leadership roles, changing the status quo of what was once a male-dominated environment. As a result of her proactive efforts, SThree's US Senior Leadership Team is now comprised of 50% women.

Sunny said: "It's an honour to be selected for SIA's Staffing 100 list and to be recognised alongside the other outstanding honourees that are taking strong action to ensure success for their companies and the industry through their business practices, processes, philosophies and people-first mindsets.

"I am particularly proud of the workforce and business strategies that SThree has put into place over the past year, which have strengthened our position in the STEM recruitment marketplace while staying true to our mission to champion a diverse representation of people, thought, and experiences."
