Freesia Macross Corporation agreed to acquire an additional 13.65% stake in Solekia Limited from Beji Sasaki for approximately ¥670 million.

Freesia Macross Corporation (TSE:6343) agreed to acquire an additional 13.65% stake in Solekia Limited (JASDAQ:9867) from Beji Sasaki for approximately ¥670 million on June 29, 2017. Freesia Macross Corporation plans to sign an agreement on June 30, 2017. Freesia Macross Corporation will acquire 0.12 million shares at ¥5650 per share.

In a related transaction, Freesia Macross Corporation agreed to acquire an additional 3.06% stake in Solekia Limited from Beji Sasaki for approximately ¥110 million. After the transactions, Freesia Macross Corporation will hold 23.45% stake in Solekia Limited and Solekia Limited is expected to become an affiliate of Freesia Macross Corporation. The Board of Directors of Freesia Macross Corporation passed a resolution for the transaction on June 29, 2017.

The transaction is expected to be completed on June 30, 2017.
