SMI Holdings Group Ltd is an investment holding company principally engaged in the movie theatre operation. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Theatre Operation segment provides box office ticketing, advertising, events and field marketing services and other related services and sales of food and beverages as well as film products. The Retail Business segment engages in the in-theatre counter sales and online shopping under the brand of SMI Living and related business. The Others segment engages in the sales of editing rights and purchased license rights from television program related business as well as investments in production and distribution of film rights and trading of marketable securities.
