LEASE AGREEMENT FOR NEW STORE IN KUNMING, CHINA

The Board of Directors of Sheng Siong Group Ltd. (the "Company" and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") wishes to announce that its subsidiary, Sheng Siong (China) Supermarket Co., Ltd (昇菘(中国)超市有限公司) had on 15 July 2021 entered into a lease agreement with Yunnan Tengda Yuntong Real Estate Co., Ltd. (云南腾达运通置业有限公司), for retail space of approximately 30,772 sq ft at Xindu Yuncheng Zone D, Level 1, No. 51 Yongping Road, Guandu District, Kunming City 650011, Yunnan Province，China (中国云南 省昆明市官渡区永平路51号鑫都韵城D区一层). The new store is expected to be operational before the end of 4Q2021.

This will bring the Group's store-count to 63 in Singapore and 4 in China. This new store is not expected to have a significant impact on the Group's financial performance for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.

None of the Directors of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the aforesaid transaction.
