Hals-Development has approved the new façade solutions for its premium Iskra-Park quarter and signed an agreement with Art. Lebedev Studio that will design decorative elements for the façade. The new architectural project has been created by SPEECH and follows the Neoclassical style of Soviet Art Deco.

The renovated Iskra-Park quarter on Leningradsky Avenue will follow the canons of Neoclassicism and is an immediate successor of prominent Big Style creations from the 1940s to 1950s. The unique feature of the project is an architectural decorative element that will adorn each section of the complex and will be echoed in the entrance lobby design. A set of 10 drawings will be created by designers of Art. Lebedev Studio.

According to the project concept, the ornaments of decorative lattices will be illustrating the achievements of the USSR during the 1940s and 1950s in machine building, power engineering, mining, space industry, agriculture and construction. The Iskra-Park Quarter is composed of a 10-section building, each having a unique and recognizable façade.

'At the heart of the new concept of the Iskra-Park project is the idea of architectural tradition continuity dating back to the mid-20th century, the time when Leningradsky Avenue was undergoing active development. The renovated Iskra-Park Complex is the good old Moscow, with its monumental appearance, green courtyards and entrance lobbies. The decorative elements on the renovated façades of residential buildings will adorn the complex and turn it into a chronicle of the great victories and achievements of our country, carved in stone,' comments Leonid Kaprov, Senior Vice President of Hals-Development.

'The Iskra-Park Urban Quarter is an example of composed environmental architecture that is addressable and can be likened to some of the best creations of the 1940s-1950s Moscow architecture, with its finer details and deeper articulation of the building's texture. The project's prototype is the famous Lace House on Leningradsky Avenue created by architect Andrey Burov. This house used to be the residence of writer Konstantin Simonov. The apartment buildings of Iskra-Park feature stone façades with various reliefs and structures of pylons, with ornamental panels inspired by the traditions of Moscow architecture of the first half of the 20th century,' comments Sergey Choban, Head of SPEECH Architectural Bureau.

Iskra-Park is a premium quarter with the area of 2.8 hectares on Leningradsky Avenue. The complex includes a modern office building and an apartment building composed of ten sections of varied height. The project offers 772 apartment suites with areas ranging from 37 to 130 sq m. Spacious entrance lobbies, underground parking garage for 400 cars coupled with a private courtyard inaccessible to vehicles, common areas developed in the best traditions of park design - all of it makes the project a perfect choice for metropolitan life. The complex is scheduled to be commissioned in Q3 of 2018.
