(Alliance News) - Rosetti Marino Spa announced Tuesday that it has been awarded a new project for offshore EPC activities in the Mediterranean Sea worth more than EUR300 million.

The project has been awarded by Saipem Spa to Rosetti Marino and is for an Engineering, Procurement & Construction contract for the construction of an approximately 5,000-ton gas recovery module to be installed on the DP4 offshore structure off the coast of Libya.

The project is for Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V. - Libyan Branch, a consortium formed by National Oil Corporation of Libya and Eni North Africa.

The scope of work for the project assigned to Rosetti Marino includes engineering, materials procurement, construction work and load out for delivery of the GRM module, as well as activities to modify the DP4 platform to be able to receive gas from the GRM and refurbishment of the platform's housing module.

The activities will begin immediately and are expected to be completed in early 2026.

Oscar Guerra, CEO of the Ravenna-based company, said, "With this acquisition, Rosetti Marino confirms its commitment and competitiveness in the Mediterranean offshore. The completion of the project will make an important contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions in Libya."

Rosetti Marino's stock is flat at EUR39.00 per share.
