Robi Axiata announced that Kamran Bakr has replaced Thayaparan Sangarapillai in Robi's Board of Directors. He will also serve as Chairman of the Board Risk and Compliance Committee. Kamran led Unilever Bangladesh from 2012 to 2017 as its Chairman & Managing Director and Unilever Nepal as its Managing Director from 2007 to 2011. He also served as non-Executive Chairman of Unilever Bangladesh Limited since 2018 till mid-2020.
