Alexis Minerals Corp. will Change its Name to QMX Gold Corporation

QMX Gold Corp (QMX) is a Canada-based mining company that is engaged in exploration and mine development. The Company focuses on growing through the exploration, development and acquisition of mineral properties, directly and indirectly through joint ventures and other opportunities. It holds a property position with approximately 200 square kilometers in mining camps in the Abitibi District of Quebec, Canada. It operates in the mining regions in Val-d'Or, Quebec. QMX also focuses on identifying deposits for acquisition and development to replace the Lac Herbin Mine. It focuses on the exploration and evaluation of other gold and base metal projects within these regions. The Lac Herbin properties cover a total aggregate surface area of over 9,000 hectares. The Aurbel-Lac Herbin group of properties has over 400 claims, approximately four mining leases and a surface lease. It holds an interest in VMS properties. Its strategic investments are located in the Abitibi District of Quebec.
