MARION, Ill., Jan. 20, 2015 - Jeffrey Picard, batch maker at PPG Industries' (NYSE:PPG) industrial coatings manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, Illinois, helped obtain a PPG Industries Foundation grant for $1,000 for Irvington Grade School. School Superintendent David Schulte (pictured with students) accompanied 65 students who participated in Education Days activities at Rent One Park, home of the Southern Illinois Miners baseball team. Activities focused on physical conditioning and taking care of one's body and health.
