Nufarm Limited announced that Ms Alexandra Gartmann will be appointed as a Non-executive director of the Nufarm Board with effect from 23 September 2022. Ms Gartmann will stand for election at Nufarm's Annual General Meeting in February 2023. Nufarm Chair, John Gillam said Ms Gartmann's appointment followed an extensive search process and aligns with Nufarm's process of undergoing regular Board renewal to provide the Board with a diverse mix of skills, experience and tenure.

Ms Gartmann is the current Chair of the Victorian Agriculture & Climate Change Council, Trustee of the Helen MacPherson Smith Trust and is a Director of the Australian Farm Institute. She is the former Chair of the CSIRO Agriculture and Food Advisory Council and member of the National Rural Advisory Council. Her executive career includes roles such as Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Executive Marketing, Partnerships & Corporate Affairs and CEO of Rural Bank and as CEO of the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal and The Birchip Cropping Group.

Ms Gartmann holds a Bachelor of Science (Resource & Environmental Management) from the Australian National University.
